Comcast vs DirectTv vs Dish?
I would like to get your opinions on which service is better and has more potential. These are my criteria, going down in importance:
1. Best PQ quality of HD lineup (who is better cable or Sattelite?)
2. Best HD channel lineup
3. Best HD+DVR receiver
4. Local HD channels are very nice to have
5. No commitments or as little as possible
6. Price

I live in the Bay area (San Francisco)
Dish is the better satellite service and would win…
BUT I don’t know if you are in a larger city or not…Dish and Direct do not provide LOCAL TV channels in markets that are not in the TOP 300 in the USA…
That means your Local TV stations would only be The top 4 or 5 cities in your state….
So you’ll have to ask them if they provide YOUR local TV stations or not…
IF NOT…get cable.
