Clark emerged victorious, but his decision to ignore the warnings from the Justice League and save the human side of Medic Davis Bloome (Sam Witwer) the monster Doomsday came with a tragic cost – Davis proved to be just as bad as the beast that had been stuck and killed Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore) opposite Chloe (Alison Mack), the woman they both loved. During the battle, Lois Clark hit time-Traveling Legion Ring and disappeared in a flash of light, lost somewhere in time. And Tess returned home to discover the star has released a young version of the villainous Kryptonian, Zod, and the entire population of the lost city of Kandor alien. But Clark finished the season not aware of this new threat. Instead, he remains haunted by the sudden disappearance Laws', fearing that the woman is important before everything could have been killed during his battle with Doomsday.
