How much do you think it will cost to upgrade to ViP 922?
Last week I bought the dish vip 722 with a two year contract, but a few days ago dish announced the vip 922, now I’m pissed as hell because it will be released in a manner of months and I’m stuck with a 2 year contract and 722 dvr. So how much do you think it would cost to upgrade to the new dvr once it is available considering it has 1TB of storage?
This is just speculation as dish network has not yet released the price
$499.99 and a 6yr commitment………even though im kidding, Id do it, this thing simply kicks A@% !!!
It will be months before its released and you ll be eligible for an upgrade by then. It will cost some $ for you, me as well but im not gonna get pissed about it. What are they supposed to do ? Tell customers not to sign up and wait 6 months because something better is going to available and until then we don’t need any new customers. In the mean time up grade your programming to at 250 w/ HD. Dish has 3 tiers of up-grade fees, all based on how long it will takes them to re-coop the $$ in to took to engineer,manufacture and distribute this new receiver. So the less you spend per month = more money to upgrade
