dish dvr usb port
how do i copy shows from my dish network HD DVR to my computer?
it has a USB port in the front so i figure someone must have figured this out. Also the Dish net tech said that he knows of people who have done it, but because he work for dish net he couldnt tell me how.
Most people are going to use a HD TV card in their computer. You then hook up the outputs of the DVR right into the computer and Viola.
You can pic up cheap ones off of eBay for $20-30.
