dish network high speed internet

I want high speed internet but I don’t have a phone line and I use dish network?
I’m looking to get high speed internet but I don’t have a home phone line and I use dish network. I saw dish network offers internet for $50 a month and verizon wireless is about the same. Is there any less expensive options?
A less expensive option would probably be to get naked DSL service if DSL is available in the area. As I remember, there was some provision in a telecommunications bill that ISPs who offered DSL had to offer a low cost “naked” option, which is to say, DSL delivered on a phone line, but no standalone phone service. This type of plan usually runs < $20/mo and would almost certainly be a better bet than satellite broadband.
You could also just get satellite service through your dish provider. Keep in mind that satellite ISPs are notorious for bandwidth throttling. Some companies turn your connection down to dial-up speeds if you download more than a gigabyte or upload more than 100MB in 24 hours. Also it's expensive. Expect < 250ms latency and no service during storms.
Even Verizon wireless would probably be better. If you decide on DSL, keep in mind that the low-cost plans aren't advertised. You'll have to ask whoever you get on the phone about it.
