I am getting Sattelite Internet and want to set up a wireless network. What do I need?
My family has dish network and we are getting sattellite internet through Wild Blue.

Im confused about what I need. What is the difference between an access point and a router?
What equipement do I need?

You will need a Wireless Router. I own one and I have internet around my whole house. All you have to do is connect the router to the modem and follow the instructions and then you’ll have Wireless internet. I own a Linksys Wireless Router with speed boost. Bought it from Target and it cost me about $70.00 but I have great speed.
