my cable internet is slow
Why cable internet service slow in the cold?
I have FiOS and I Border Comcast. I noticed this with both services and I was wondering if anyone could tell me why. When it gets very cold and snow and storms, my Internet connection always seems to be slower. I can play my xbox and constantly have a bar of red or yellow 2. On an average day, however, is fine. What causes this? Is it coincidence? Nothing is wireless.

It is possible that more of your neighbors are indoor games, surf the web, watch Netflix on demand, etc, when the weather is bad.
