pc to tv connection forums
Connecting X-box to PC but not to the net.?
I wanted to connect my Xbox360 to my PC to play it through the monitor like a TV but i didnt really need a net connection. Most forums discuss net connection play but does anybody know how to just connect it to the computer to basically play on the computer like a TV screen.
I already have the right plug but the messing around on the settings is what gets me.
Please help!
Easiest and best way is to buy an external TV tuner card and hook it to the monitor directly. You won’t even need a PC for this. Just monitor and TV tuner card will do the job for you.
Connection is very easy, TV Tuner card can give output to monitor by VGA connection and it takes RCA input. You can connect XBOX RCA output to TV tuner card RCA input. This will work because I am using this setup myself.
Connection is same eve with internal TV tuner card. But for internal TV Tuner card PC will be active too, so performance of game (speed) will depend on PC. Effect won’t be all that good.
