Can a wireless cable modem interfere with satellite TV?
I have just installed a wireless cable modem, and settles in a foot of my satellite receiver box. The receiver has since been in constant loss of signal, while my other tv in another room with its own receiver has been doing well. I have tried turning off the modem and the satellite receiver with no luck. Any solution?
I do believe that in theory can. I have a linksys wireless connected to my cable modem. It is currently in a separate room in my house but realized that the TV in the living room is lost the signal from time to time. That's as close to television a wireless modem. I know that there is only so much room in a house, but the best solution is to move the phone modem to a different part of your home. If possible. By moving it to another place in my house it did make a difference.
