satellite tv no signal
i have satellite tv dish with a digital receiver and have a good signal but there is no quality ?
i´m not familiar with digital sat. receiver, i used to have a cable. now the problem is I don´t get any channel there is signal but no quality , is that maybe because trees that why i can´t get any quality or maybe not enough high.?
Quality gets to do with dish pointing problem. Your dish is not pointing at the satellite. Signal is the connection between the LNB and your receiver. Use a Sat calculator such as http://www.dishpointer.com/ , adjust your dish. Then scan the channels.
You need the elevation, azimuth, and skew angle.
Try to get the quality at least 65, so you do not get signal loss during a storm (rain fade). Make sure you are using the correct cable RG6. RG59 will not work.
