How can I connect two LCD TV’s together to a PC?

Hey, I wanted to know what was the best way to connect two LCD’s to a PC where the TV’s are a little more than 5 ft apart and the computer about 15ft?

I know they have VGA y splitter cables, but none that can connect the two monitors together at that distance. I was wondering if it was possible to connect the first TV to the 2nd using a VGA cable and then running another VGA cable from TV 1 to the PC…Would that work?

Any suggestions welcome. Links for cables also
Like I know “Cables to Go” have VGA Y-Splitter cable, but does really just connecting an extender work?

TV 1 and TV 2 are like 5 ft apart and most of the y-splitter cables only go about a foot. So what you’re saying is that I can extend TV1’s VGA cable to make it reach?
Is it possible to hook up one to VGA and the other with like DVI-2-HDMI cable and will they work fine? I ALSO want a computer monitor attached to the CPU…

You need a splitter cable – your other idea of daisy-chaining won’t work unless one of the TVs has a monitor out connector (I know some projectors have this, but I don’t think any TVs do).

You can find extra-long VGA cables – I got a 12-foot one recently. So if you get a short splitter cable you could add longer cables to extend it.

However, I’m not certain this will work, because the signal power might get diminished over that long a distance if you are splitting, and also the computer might get confused about the monitor resolution, since VGA cables do provide some 2-way communication back to the computer regarding the monitor’s resolution.

Computer on a TV. WHAT?
